About the Company
Smart Dealer Parts L.C. was founded on October 5, 1994 and is a limited liability company organized and operating under the laws of the State of Texas. We were the first genuine automotive part discount seller in the continental United States.  We brought an idea to market that, eleven years later, has turned it into an annual multi-million dollar industry.  Our focus is on providing fast moving genuine automotive parts to automotive dealerships. More specifically, we do not attempt to stock all, or even a majority of the part numbers that are sold by or available from the part manufacturer. We perform extensive market research to determine what parts are considered “fast movers”, those parts that are “best sellers” at automotive dealerships, our core customers.  “Fast movers” are in most cases simply those parts that wear out (brake pads, belts, filters, pumps, hoses, etc.) or are subject to damage (hoods, fenders, doors, headlamps, other collision parts, etc.).  Since we work so diligently on market research, we are able to carry just a fraction of the actual part numbers carried by the manufacture and still provide our customers with, on average, access to 20% to 25% of their total parts needs.

Smart Dealer Parts sought to differentiate itself by its dedication to service, ease of ordering, and knowledgeable, friendly sales force as well as its ability to provide one-stop shopping for all automotive gray market parts purchases.
